NPI Services, Inc. (NPI) is pleased and proud to welcome Cam-Xuan Dang to Team NPI! Cam brings a wealth of expertise and experience to our lab, particularly in the field of cable and harness assembly. Cam has over 30 years of experience in electronic manufacturing working in Salt Lake City, Utah for aerospace and defense companies such as L-3 Communications, MOOG Aircraft, and Raytheon. She has worked as a mechanical assembler and electronic assembler with responsibilities including circuit board soldering, calibration and test, wire harnessing, crimping, electronic system assembly, box builds, rework, and missile component assembly. Cam made the move from Utah back to Southern California, where she started her career, to be closer to friends and family. Her warm personality, work ethic, and positive attitude have been a welcome addition to NPI’s Costa Mesa facility.
Cam is a certified IPC Specialist to IPC/WHMA-A-620A Class 2 and Class 3 (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies) and IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies). NPI is excited to announce that Cam will be taking courses at JPL in early 2019 for the following certifications: IPC J-STD-001ES (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies – included the Space and Addendum) and Crimp, Cable & Harness NASA STD 8739.4.
