Founder and President
Judy founded NPI Services, Inc., a woman-owned business, in 1998 and has guided the company through the Dot-Com Bubble (2000), Great Recession (2008), Federal Budget Sequestration (2013), and the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020.
Judy graduated from St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame in 1980 with a B.A. in economics and a minor in computer science. After college, she spent five years in the U.S. Peace Corps as a developmental economist, managing projects in Southeast Asia.
Returning to America in 1985, she began her engineering support service career in Orange County, CA, developing prototypes of x86-based motherboards and servers for Fortune 500 technology companies. She leveraged that knowledge to found NPI Services, Inc. as a one-stop solution for electronic prototypes, specializing in quicker turnaround times.
Judy’s vision for faster, more efficient ways of advanced electronic assembly propels continuous improvement in everything measurable at NPI Services, Inc. As an economist, her passion for database analytics coupled with 25+ years of global supply chain intelligence inspires creative solutions for NPI Services, Inc. clients. Today she operates her company from offices in Costa Mesa, CA, focusing on business development and maximizing her team’s infinite potential. Judy enjoys reading, exotic adventure travel, gardening, and hiking local OC trails with her loyal 4-legged companion, Rosie.
Taylor Munz develops partnerships with new accounts and
strengthens existing relationships. He works with NPI Services’ Project Managers and customers to efficiently deliver projects on time and in budget. Whether it is a mission to the moon or a new medical diagnostic machine, Taylor loves to delve into innovative projects to help his customers deliver first-to-market.
Taylor Munz has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Southern California. He has a passion for civil service and served in the Peace Corps in Belize for 2 years creating community development projects in his village. He began his career at Autodesk Inc driving Business Development for new products in the Mechanical Design and Manufacturing portfolio and later created a Customer Success Program to ensure a smooth adoption for new customers.
He lives in Rapid City, South Dakota with his wife and 2
kids. He enjoys camping and mountain biking.
Sue offers NPI Services, Inc. clients 25+ years of operation understanding in the world of semiconductors. She developed her knowledge of best practices in efficient system design, software implementation, and sales management through years of experience at Rockwell, Conexant, and Skyworks. Currently, she manages the development and integration of NPI Services, Inc.’s operational databases, transforming them into an advanced ERP system to increase productivity and efficiency to propel NPI Services, Inc. to the next level of success.
Sue received her B.S. in information systems from the University of Buffalo as well as a degree in marketing and human resources. She spends her spare time as a veteran in the Newport Beach Back 9 Golf League and vacationing in Canada with her extended family.
Accounting & Administration Manager
Juliann received her B.A. in business management from Cal State Long Beach in 1987. After years of managing architecture firms, she became manager of NPI Services, Inc.’s accounting, human resources, and administration operations. She contributes to continuous improvement in project cost accounting, corporate finance reports, employee benefits management, and facility service providers. Her impeccable management of all transactions within our company flows seamlessly through her office.
Juliann enjoys baking, gardening, country music and spending summer vacations with her family at their cabin in Montana.
Technical Program Manager/Quality Manager
Tien’s aerospace engineering experience is invaluable in providing technical program management for NPI’s growing footprint in the mil-aero market. His talents serve many disciplines, from product design to final test, from box builds to cable assemblies. Tien manages our quality management system team and represents us annually for our ISO Medical and Aerospace quality certification audits..
He graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in electrical engineering from Cal State Fullerton and is a certified IPC-A-610 specialist. He began his career as a quality engineer at ATK Launch Systems where he tested RSRM (reusable solid rocket motor) and BSM (booster separation motor) programs for NASA. He joined Northrop Grumman as a test engineer for the joint strike fighter and forward-looking infrared imaging program. Among his responsibilities was testing the rate sensor system for the JSF (joint strike fighter) electro-optical distributed aperture systems.
When he’s not managing an unlimited number of NPI Services, Inc. projects, Tien spends quality time with his wife, three daughters, and extended family.
Sivam executes many of the day-to-day technical tasks required to meet our customers’ needs, including IC programming, system integration, box builds, and tests. Our customers especially appreciate his ability to reverse engineer box builds without drawings. Despite his easy-going demeanor, he takes on any challenge. He works closely with our project managers to ensure the fastest possible customer service response and maximum customer satisfaction. He worked during his student years as an intern with the organization since 2011.
Sivam received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016. He is a certified IPC-A-610 specialist. He enjoys family vacations, hiking, kayaking, and history.
Jason specializes in material procurement and quick turn assemblies. His extensive experience as an electronics buyer includes purchasing pre-production kits sent to contract manufacturers all over the world. His main talents are analytic number crunching and attention to detail. In addition, NPI Services, Inc.’s long-term customers greatly appreciate his warm personality and excellent customer service.
Jason received his A.A. degree from Orange Coast College in 2006. Jason’s exceptional multi-tasking skills get better as his young family grows with two energetic toddlers.
Linda is a super supply chain economist who enjoys dissecting obsolete component part numbers and finding creative solutions to our clients’ material challenges which, to date, have saved millions of dollars by preventing subsystem obsolescence. She also has an avid interest in advancing PCB fabrication challenges to leading edge manufacturing limits.
Linda graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2008 with a B.A. in economics. She is a certified IPC-A-610 specialist. International travel and family keep Linda busy when she is not micromanaging one of our complex space or medical device clients.
Kyra works very closely with our key account managers to provide all the supply chain and procurement support for future IRAD prototypes. She plans, quotes and procures all the materials and services required to fulfill customer project requirements. With more than two decades in semiconductor inside sales, she offers clients a wealth of knowledge and experience in tandem with our team of supply chain economists. Her 25+ years of outstanding customer service in the electronic industry calms the nerves of marketing managers eager to demonstrate their quick turn prototypes at upcoming trade shows. Kyra spends much of her leisure time with friends and family, camping and boating along California’s Central Coast.
