The Best Gift a Tech Professional Can Give…

YOUR TIME as a mentor/volunteer to students and startups!

It’s also a great way to stay current on how science YOU spent a career working on gets applied to the next generation of products and services. Join Judy and the NPI Team in giving YOUR TIME to the community to help share your invaluable experience with tomorrow’s aspiring technologists who are applying new technologies to advances in medical science, the environment, food, energy, etc.  If your science buzz needs a re-charge, get involved with young STEM enthusiasts!

SCIENCE OC: “Inspiring middle school students to excel in Science and explore STEM careers.” This organization offers plenty of opportunities to share your valuable experience and expertise for education! While Judy has participated in the last two years with other industry professionals reviewing Project Based Learning units with local educators, there are numerous opportunities to share your special skills to advance education. For example, without leaving the comfort of your own home or office, you can have a positive impact on K-12 public education in the State of California by participating in the First 60-Day Review Science Framework Survey. “The Instructional Quality Commission and the State Board of Education welcome your review and comments on the Draft Science Framework for Californian Public Schools. This online survey is available from November 17, 2015–January 19, 2016.” Your input would be a great gift to us all!
